What is Flightroom?

Flightroom lets passengers swap seats with other travelers on the same flight, so you can sit next to your travel companion without paying airline seat selection fees.

Is Flightroom affiliated with airlines?

No. Flightroom is an independent platform and is not affiliated with any airline. Seat swaps happen directly between passengers, on a voluntary basis.

Is seat swapping allowed by airlines?

In most cases, passengers are allowed to change seats among themselves after boarding, as long as cabin crew approval is respected. Flightroom does not override airline policies.

When does the seat swap happen?

Seat swaps are completed on board, after boarding, with mutual consent between passengers and in accordance with cabin crew instructions.

Does Flightroom access airline booking systems?

No. Flightroom does not access, modify, or integrate with airline booking systems. It only allows users to exchange seat information with each other.

Is Flightroom safe to use?

Yes. Flightroom only connects passengers on the same flight and does not require sensitive booking credentials. No airline passwords or payment details are ever requested.

Do I need to share my booking reference or passport?

No. You never need to share booking codes, passport data, or personal documents.
